FEATURING WORLD FAMOUS Grandmasters and Titled players!
This Online Worldwide Team Chess tournament has over 100 sides competing in various stages, and whoever wins the most stages wins overal for the year 2020 season!
For the first stage it mainly involved UK teams, though it still had plenty of top players and ‘Tiger Sharks’ from London Hammersmith were the eventual winners defeating Financial Moscow University in the final.
The Second Stage concluded with Melbourne University pulling off a thrilling 7.5-4.5 over the Tiger Sharks to peg them back, making it 1-1 in the overall standings, you can watch the highlights here:

Templarios A cruised to victory in Stage 4 winning a record 7/7 games:
Tiger Sharks however bounced back to take Stage 5 matching the 7/7 record which puts them in the lead:
The tournament is open to everyone and is free, though we would invite everyone to donate what they can in support of Oxfam's COVID 19 Appeal:
The matches take place on Friday evenings over several weeks before it resets. We have a variety of participants, from junior schools and academies, universities and clubs with internationally recognised players from all demographics competing against each-other in one division.
We are also working on ways to attract sponsorship with all potential revenue going to charity and prizes so please get in touch if you would be interested.

Portofino Cup for the 1st placed team at the end of the season!
